Begin your authentic Andean weaving workshop in Peru by exploring the rich history of traditional Inca textiles and ancestral colors. During a short walk, identify native plants and natural materials used in Andean textile art, such as chillca leaves, qolle flowers, and cochineal insects. Learn the symbolism and cultural significance behind each natural dye in the Andean tradition.
Alpaca Wool Processing Experience
Join a hands-on session in alpaca wool processing, starting with the shearing process using a traditional dragon stone. Discover the differences between alpaca, llama, vicuña, and sheep wool, and learn how Andean communities have used each for centuries.
Wash wool using sachaparacay root, a native natural cleanser.
Prepare vibrant organic dyes from cochineal (red), chillca (green), and qolle (yellow).

It is a 2-hour cultural hiking experience in the Sacred Valley. You will interact with and feed alpacas and llamas at the dome base, followed by a scenic walk alongside them along ancient trails to the Machuqolqa Inca site, led by a local guide.

No, transportation between Cusco and the Sky Dome Peru glass domes is not included in the standard price. However, the host can arrange transportation for an affordable additional fee. Drinks and tips are also excluded.
The minimum age to participate is 7 years old, and the maximum group size is capped at 12 guests to keep the experience intimate and safe.
